Cordless Phone system

I was looking for a cordless phone system to use in my home. I want to be able to keep talking even if I am working in the kitchen or doing my laundry. As a housewife, the phone is my lifeline to the outside world.

I have found several cheap ones on the internet, but my son says that these are the kinds that break easily. He was the one who found your unit and he showed it to me. Then, when he saw the price, he offered to buy it for me as a gift!

Leather Notebook Journals

I am an advocate of the slow cooking movement. I love working in the kitchen, and I am training my kid to love cooking too. I want to preserve my recipes in leather notebook journals that my children can use when they grow up.

I think that serving home cooked meals is the best way for the family to bond together. I also think that these are healthier than any fast food offerings out there. The leather journals will help keep our family dishes and memories intact through the years.

mini loaf pan

Mini Loaf Pan

I needed a mini loaf pan for the little apple nutbread treats I was baking for a niece’s party. I wasn’t able to find it at a baking supply store I always went to. The owner suggested I try finding it online.

Your pan fit the bill perfectly. I didn’t want to use the big loaf pans I had on hand. They would have made my bite-sized decorated treats a little too big, sticky, and crumbly for tiny hands, that would have ruined the party.

Nipple Covers

I admit that I dress up seductively, be it on special occasions or just a regular day. It gives me extra confidence and attitude. Even if some of my clothes have plunging necklines and somewhat tight fitting, I still manage to wear them with all my pride. My secret is that I never wear them without the use of nipple covers. It actually adheres to my breasts, which provides minimal but still sufficient cover for my breast, while being at my sexiest.

Until a few months ago, I was one of those who said I will sleep when I am dead. So, I partied all night. Or stayed up late doing projects. That was until my doctor cautioned me about my bad lifestyle and how it was affecting my health. I resolved to sleep earlier, which was hard because I was used to sleeping really late. But your down alternative comforters make my bed so cozy that now I have hard time not dropping off to sleep as soon as I get home!

OK, so what is a gift?

GiftA gift or present is the transfer of something, without the need for compensation that is involved in trade. A gift is a voluntary act which does not require anything in return. Even though it involves possibly a social expectation of reciprocity, or a return in the form of prestige or power, a gift is meant to be free.

In many human societies, the act of mutually exchanging money, goods, etc. may contribute to social cohesion. Economists have elaborated the economics of gift-giving into the notion of a gift economy.

By extension the term gift can refer to anything that makes the other happier or less sad, especially as a favour, including forgiveness and kindness (even when the other is not kind).

So you have come to realize after all the wrapping paper has made it into your local dump and the packagings have all been tossed aside that no one really needed any of those gift you gave over the holiday and worse then that you have now polluted the environment with all you well wishes.

What do you do now? How do you alleviate your guilt when the next birthday rolls around? Well I’ll tell you. There is no better gift then a ticket.

Low-Tech, High-Payoff

Loud colors, flashing light, loud music and sound effects. No, I’m not talking about Las Vegas or a rock concert I am talking about a trend in toys that I detest. Yeah, kids are drawn to them and grown-ups admire the latest technology but take it from a mom, in a month the batteries will wear out, you’ll have to open a new bottle of asprin, and that new hi-tech toy will lie in the corner collecting dust on its shiny plastic.

Go for the classic toys. Spark the imagination of the child you love. Get them something that they can play with, not something to entertain them. Pick out an item that is age approriate for the child’s brain you want to stimulate, and something you can enjoy playing with too.

Trust me, as a mom, an aunt, a teacher, and a sister, children grow and learn from these toys:

Sending Flowers

If you’re looking for ways to improve relationships with friends and family, consider sending flowers as a great way to do so. Everyone loves receiving flowers, which is what makes sending them as a gift such a good idea.

If there’s a special someone in your life, nothing says “I love you” quite like bouquets of red roses. The rose is a perfect flower to send your loved one on such an occasion as allows you to better express your feelings, so consider sending flowers to help smooth along any romance in your life.
