Don’t wait for special occasions to express how much you love your spouse. Have romantic things to say to her everyday. Compliment her; not only on her looks, but especially on the things she does for you and the kids.
The simplest of things can be very special. The zest of a one year old marriage can be as enthusiastic in 10 or 20 years of living together. Never grow tired expressing affection for one another. Saying “I love You ” can be a cliché, but along with a dozen kisses and a tight hug, it can still bring wonders to a dead tired body coming home from work.
