The face of America is changing. With more and more expats from different nations calling America their home, the country has truly become a melting pot of different races.
One of the first challenges in our educational system today is how to acclimatize these new students to learning in our classrooms. One big help is a bilingual teaching aid. Students who speak a different language, such as Spanish or Chinese can now be helped along. Studies have shown that learning a foreign language is much easier for children than most adults and in addition to this great advantage, children have also been proven to do better in school, have better problem-solving skills, are more open to diversity, and score much higher on standardized tests.
