One of my best friends is having her first baby soon, and she’s the first in our group to get married and have a child. It’s a new journey for us, having been together since college and bearing witness to each of the paths we all have taken after graduation. We have been singles and went through different relationships, but now we’re entering a new phase in our lives. And that is motherhood.
We’ve all decided to throw in a shower party for her; after all we were very much excited since this is a new feat for all of us.
