My friends and I planned a baby shower for one of our best friends. Growing up together we have been really close and have shared so many memories together. We went to the same school and did many activities together, which is why even as we grew up we remained in contact and still supported each other. My friend was the first one in our group to get married, so it was quite an exciting thing for all of us. It was much to our surprise when their marriage brought forth a child.
The baby shower was fun and exciting, and took us a few weeks of careful planning. There were games and cute prizes that were given away to those who won the games. The highlight of the shower though is the gift giving. Each guest brought a newborn baby gift which my friend absolutely adored. From clothes to accessories and various other trinkets, the mother was extremely happy about the way things have turned out. This is definitely a momentous time for all of us.
Have you noticed how daddy cannot get his camera in its case when a new baby comes around? He takes a picture of his little darling every chance that he gets. Mommy is just as crazy about a newly printed baby picture. She puts them in a baby picture frame and displays them on the dresser top together with a bunch of other prettily framed pictures. Haven’t you noticed how the walls are full of framed pictures of all shapes and sizes?
