Why is it that plenty of engaged couples include fancy silverware in their wedding registry? They probably want something formal and practical that will last them a lifetime. Couples also choose other dishes and bowls to go with their silverware. Salad bowls, sauce bowls and soup bowls should also be part of the wedding registry. I learned this when I received a lovely woven bowl from an aunt. It turned out o be one of the most used bowls in our house.

A woven bowl is most commonly used for fruits. This is usually placed as the centerpiece. Woven bowls are very popular in Asia. There are woven bowls made of wood and woven bowls made of grass and straw. There are even woven balls made from rattan and bamboo.
